PENENTUAN KANDUNGAN ZAT PADAT (TOTAL DISSOLVE SOLID DAN TOTAL SUSPENDED SOLID)DI PERAIRAN TELUK LAMPUNG

Penelitian tentang penentuan kadar Total Dissolve Solid (TDS) dan Total Suspended Solid (TSS) pada air laut telah dilakukan di sekitar perairan Teluk Lampung. Penentuan kadar TDS dan TSS ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode gravimetri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsentrasi TDS berada pada rentang 27.868 ppm sampai dengan 36.642 ppm, sedangkan konsentrasi TSS berada pada rentang 64 ppm sampai dengan 118 ppm. Konsentrasi TSS pada sebagian besar lokasi sampling telah melebihi baku mutu berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup No 51 Tahun 2004 yang menunjukkan tingginya zat padat yang masuk ke perairan sehingga dapat menjadi indikator awal adanya pencemaran di perairan Teluk Lampung.
