Publication Ethics

Author Responsibility:

  • Authors are required to present accurate, original, and honest research reports without data manipulation.
  • Manuscripts must be complete and properly reference sources to be accountable.
  • The submitted manuscript must be original work and not currently submitted to any other journal without approval.
  • Authors should appropriately acknowledge all sources of data and related work.
  • The contribution of each author should be clearly described, only those who contribute significantly should be authors.
  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.
  • If errors are found in the published manuscript, the author must immediately inform the editor.
  • Authors must state if the research involves hazardous materials or human/animal subjects.

 

Responsibilities of Editor:

  • Publication Decisions: The editor is responsible for making publication decisions based on peer review recommendations, considering the validity and relevance of the research.
  • Peer Review Process: The editor ensures that the peer review process is fair, confidential, and independent, and that conflicts of interest are avoided.
  • Confidentiality: The editor guarantees the confidentiality of manuscripts and author-related information.
  • Unpublished Material: Editors are prohibited from using unpublished material without the author’s consent.

 

Responsibilities of Reviewers:

 

  • Confidentiality: Reviewers are obligated to maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and author information.
  • Reference Completeness: Reviewers are responsible for ensuring the completeness of references and identifying potential instances of plagiarism or conflicts of interest.
  • Objectivity and Constructiveness: Reviewers are expected to provide reviews that are objective, constructive, and adhere to the journal’s guidelines.
  • Ethical Violations Reporting: Reviewers are required to report suspected ethical violations to the editor without conducting their own investigation.
