Article Retraction & Withdrawl
General Policy
The Editor of Analit Journal holds sole and independent authority in determining the appropriateness of articles for publication. This decision is guided by editorial board policies and adheres to legal requirements such as defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The published scientific archive serves as a permanent record of scientific history, and its content must remain intact and unchanged to the extent feasible.
However, in exceptional circumstances, published articles may be retracted or deleted. Such decisions are subject to meticulous consideration and are based on best practices within the academic community.
Article Recall Procedure
Articles may be withdrawn from publication if scientific errors, multiple submissions, false claims of authorship, plagiarism, or fraudulent use of data are discovered. Withdrawal necessitates a written statement from the author and consent from all authors of the article. A retraction notification will be disseminated and associated with the original article, clearly indicating that it has been retracted. The original article will remain accessible in both print and online formats, albeit marked as retracted. Additionally, the retraction information will be incorporated into the journal’s table of contents.
Early Withdrawal
Early withdrawal is strongly discouraged and is only permitted under exceptional circumstances for early versions of articles that have been accepted but not yet officially published and may have already been disseminated online. Reasons for withdrawal may include errors, duplication of posts, or violations of publishing ethics such as multiple submissions, false claims of authorship, plagiarism, or improper data usage. In instances where potential legal or ethical violations are present, early versions of articles may be withdrawn from the journal’s electronic platform. The article content (HTML and PDF versions) will be replaced with a message indicating that the article has been withdrawn in accordance with the Analytical Journal policy, accompanied by a link to the policy.
Article Deletion
In exceptional circumstances, published articles may be removed from the Analytical Journal online platform if they manifest clear libelous content, infringe upon the legal rights of third parties, are subject to a court order, or pose a potentially serious health hazard. In such cases, the article metadata (title and authors) will be preserved, while the article content will be replaced with a notification screen indicating that the article has been removed for legal reasons.
Article Replacement Procedure
In the event that a published article presents a substantial health hazard, the author may submit a request for its replacement with an enhanced version. This process is analogous to the deletion procedure, however, the replacement notification will include a hyperlink to the revised version and will be accompanied by the document’s historical record.
